KVRD's First Meet & Greet

KVRD's first meet and greet to recruit new skaters was a smashing success!

On Sunday, September 22nd, KVRD held their first ever meet and greet at the Cushnoc Tasting Room in Augusta, ME. The goal of this event was to find potential new recruits to join Skate School.

Daisy Cutter and Dinah Fire led the event, walking prospective new students through the ins and outs of modern-day roller derby. They discussed everything from what a typical practice is like, to what gear is recommended for purchase, and what kind of atmosphere we train in.

KVRD's first session of Skate School is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 9th. For more information, visit our website.
